Properties:

An electrical fitting with contacts and having one or more cavities into which an insert module, electrical connector can be installed. The insert modules may/may not be included with the item. The item is constructed to be affixed to the end of a cable, conduit, coaxial line, core, wire, or the like for convenience in joining with another electrical connector(s) or printed wiring board. It is not designed to be mounted on a bulkhead, chassis, or the like.
