Properties:

An item of varying shape and size consisting of a metallic body which incloses a nonreusable metallic or nonmetallic disk(s), which is designed and calibrated to burst at a given pressure. It may be used independently, or in conjunction with relief valves to relieve overpressure, and to protect relief valve(s) from corrosive conditions.
