The gage is connected to an external air supply, the pressure is regulated and released between a gaging member and the item being checked. A variation in size, or a difference in size from a master, will be indicated by a difference in air flow. It consists of a gaging member, comparator, air plug, an indicator, and may include a pressure regulator. Excludes gage, air flow, metalizing; gage, small hole; and gage set, small hole.
