Interface between electronic control modul (ecm) and the digital data reader (ddr) for purpose of dispplaying diesel engine parameters and malfunctions stored in the ecm; the diagnostic module (dm) shall flash out codes stored in the ecm when the diagnostic swith is toggled; the connection of the dm to the ecm shall be made via detroit diesel connector 023513052; adjustments shall be provided for the setting engine idle speed above 600 rpm, engine rated speed to produce 400 hz+/- 2 hz generator output and engine overspeed at 2050+/- 50rpm; the dm shall provide a dc signal to the engine fault module for low oil pressure and high engine temperature stutdown; the dm shall operate on 22-29 vdc voltage range; apply p/n 21269 d624-2516a permil-std-130 appro.
