Self-contained jack, capable of being operated in either a verticle or horizontal position; furnished with a detachable operating lever; jack shall consist of a base, pump, reservoir, cylinder, plunger, and neccessary valves to produce the operating pressure required to utilize the jack at its full rated capacity; component parts of the jack shall be capable of withstanding pressure at least 1-1/2 times the working pressure

Properties:

A device consisting of a ram, hydraulically actuated by a hand-operated pump(s). The units may be combined on a single base, in a common body or be of the remote control type. The ram is actuated by a hydraulic force in one direction only. Excludes jack, bumper; dolly type jacks; folding tripod type jacks and items with reversing valve mechanisms for performing pulling actions by changing the direction of the hydraulic force applied to the ram.
