Properties:

An item designed to couple or join two different types or sizes of conduits, and/or to be inserted in the opening of a conduit outlet or box to accommodate a conduit of a larger or smaller size; or it may be designed with internal thread on one end for mating with an electrical connector and an external thread on the other end for mating with a conduit coupling nut; or to establish necessary mechanical accommodations between an electrical conduit, conduit assembly and an electrical connector.
