Properties:

An item used to transfer blood from a blood bottle, or a blood collecting bag, and for administration of blood with blood recipient sets. It has an integrally attached piercing connector, connecting tube, outlet ports, control clamp, and end protector. It is also used in conjuction with other components for subdivision of whole blood into smaller units, separation of plasma from cellular elements, and the preparation of platelet concentrate. Excludes blood collecting-dispensing bag and donor set.
