Properties:

A metal, or metal and rubber, tubular stem containing a valve core and cap. The mounting end may have a base with a fitting designed for mounting on a pneumatic tire, inner tube, or tire rim, to permit and retain inflation or permit deflation. The mounting end may be internally threaded for adaptability to a valve spud or may be provided with cure-on or clamp in features. The other end is externally threaded to accommodate a valve cap, and internally threaded to accommodate the valve core.
