Airwrap xl is a six inch elastic wrap used to apply focal pressure over a wound that has been treated; airwrap comes with a built in inflatable bladder that allows the medic to manually inflate with either air or fluid by the medic; bandage ensures that sufficient direct compression is maintained; it has velcro tabs every 18 inches to prevent accidental unwrapping if dropped and plastic hook clips that secures the tail end of the bandage; the air bladder is removable and allows the provider more flexibility for treating a variety of wounds; the elastic is 18 inches longer than traditional six inch elastic wraps, allows for extra circcumferential wrappping around the pelvis; bandage comes with a luer lock and inflation bulb that are both compatible with the sam junctional tourniquet; the bandage inlfation port will accept standard iv bag tubing to allow the bladder to be filled with 500cc of fluid
