Properties:

An item specifically designed to facilitate the connection of two or more contacts or terminals within an electrical connector, on a terminal board, on a printed circuit board header or the like for the purpose of making them electrically common. Normally a solid item with holes to accommodate the contacts or terminals. Excludes dummy connector, plug; dummy connector, receptacle; lead, electrical bus, conductor; and terminal strip, grounding. For items with studs or threaded holes to accommodate terminals or holes to accommodate wire for solder, or the like see terminal board. For items designed to carry heavy current see bus, conductor.
