A clamping device consisting of two l-shaped members, the long leg of one attached to, and pivots on, the long leg of the other member. Both short legs of each member terminate in freely rotating square pressure pads. One face of each pressure pad has a v-groove. The clamping operation is actuated by a screw which pivots on both members. It is used for holding round or flat objects with parallel or nonparallel surfaces.
