General Description

This wrench is required to provide a countertorque attachment to the low pressure turbine shaft when installing or removing the no. 5 bearing innerrace retaining nut. Used in conjunction with pwa80233 and pwa80071. This wrench is a steel multi detail assembly consisting of a body detail, which has replaceable teeth in one end, which engagethe slots in the low pressure turbine coupling. At the same end of the adapter body as the removable teeth, a locking device incures that the adapter will remain in position when torque is applied to the no. 5 retaining nut. A hex nut at the opposite end of the adapter body is used to activate locking mechanism.
