Functional Description
Required to spot weld replacement honeycomb air seals on 12th stage compressor stator segments p/n 4080382 to retain them in place during braze cycle. Fixture is a commercial standard copper electrode modified by machining special grooved steps that accept the radial outer diameter profile of a stator segment fixture (electrode) provides full electrical contact to the outer shroud during resistance weld operation
