Functional Description
Required to spot weld replacement honeycomb air seals on 10th or 11th stage compressor stator segments to retain them in place during a braze cycle. Fixture is a commercial standard copper electrode modified by machining special grooved steps that accept the radial outer diamenter profile of a stator segment. Fixture provides full electrical contact to the outer shroud during resistance weld operation
