Functional Description
Required to spot weld replacement honeycomb air seals on 9th stage compressor stator segments to retain them in place during a braze cycle. Fixture is a commercial copper electrode modified by machining special grooved steps that accept the radial outer diameter profile of a stator segment. Fixture provides full electrical contact to the outer shroud during resistance weld operations
