Functional Description
Fixture is used to round up and hold the fan case assembly during weld repair build up of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stage vane lugs. Detail chill plates and rings (copper) are provided to dissipate local heat during welding to minimize fan case distortion. Basic fixture is contained on a portable stand having multi-positioning and locking features
