Electrical Receptacle ConnectorSpecial Features:
Material of body is brass and insulator is polytetrafluoraethylene. Center contact is tempered and heat treated beryllium copper. The solder lug is tempered brass. Center and ground contacts are gold-plated copper. Hardware is electrodeposited nickel over copper. Female center contact fingers closed down uniformly to meet 4 oz withdrawal force. To ensure electrical continuity, the body shall meet a withdrawal force of 1lb. Captivation of insulator and center contact will maintain 12 pounds force when applied from interface end. Manufacturers identification to be permanently stamped in metal part of receptacle. Insulator shall not exceed diameter of body.
