Contains psfudorandum function generator for control of associated radio set frequency, receives messages that synchronize modem to satellite timed access modes. Demodulation of 8 ary fsk carrier with tones spaced 200 hz apart. Automatic synchronization to carrier frequency obtained by operating on real time vector asspecified by pluggable read only memory module. Deinterleaving, decovering, error decoding and block error detection of received messages
