The tactical local area network (taclan) mission planning kit (mpk) is a standalone, self-contained lan or may be used to connect to a taclan suite nsn: 5810-01-518-7269 or other networks to interconnect mission planning team members performing mission planning, rehearsal, and execution. The mpk is packed in one transit case and includes; four (4) laptops, switch, printer, scanner, video projector/screen, one (1) universal serial bus (usb) webcam, cabling and ancillary equipment to connect all devices

A kit that allows users to quickly set up a mobile checkpoint. this system is completely portable, and may contain a laptop, modems, antenna, printer, and software for remote communication. The kit may read information from a tag, electronic identification or bar code shipment labels and edit or update the tag. it may also transmit this information to a remote work station for additional processing and may print new shipment labels.
