Pouch back and flap use double layer of 1000 denier coated nylon cordura (mil-c-43734, class c), pouch dimensions are: 2 inches length x 1.5 inches width x 5.25 inches height, pouch is designed to carry a single 40 mm grenade and adapt to different rd lengths up to an illumination round, flap has a 1.5 inch long pull tab which consists of a single piece of 1 inch 17337 webbing doubled, flap adjusts by securing to face of the pouch at variable points on the loop (velcro) for closure, face has an infrared reflectance coating that is called out in co/pd-02-02f, pouch utilizes a single molle/pals attachment strap with a single snap securing system, pals incorporates a non-corrosive snap socket which fastens into corresponding snap studs located on the back of the pouch, pouch has single zero grommet in bottom for drainage
