Samples air continuously, which is automatically heated /if necessary/, filtered, drawn into the detector cell, where it passed through the electrolyte solution! If v or g agents are present, the galvanic voltage produced by the cell increases, the change is amplified by the electronic module which sounds the detector horn and/or activates a flashing light, applies power to the remote terminals and stops the pump motor. The horn will continue to sound and/or the light flash until the detector is reset or disconnected by the operator. The system is designed for manpack or fixed emplacement operation using dry cell battery for manpack and mid power supply unit for fixed emplacement use
