Nomenclature ( height 0.187 inches) and characters ( height 0.093 inches) outside pads, pads, and borders shall be bright natural aluminum. Letters shall be gothic capitals and numerals shall be arabic. Nomenclature listed on nameplate includes: nsn (national stock number), contr (contract number), design act (design activity), pn (part number), mfr (manufacturer), sn (serial number).
