Designed to weld hy-100 and other high toughness steels of similar strength levels. With argon-based shielding gases, conventional and pulsed spray transfer can be obtained for welding in all positions. weld strength and toughness levels of 120 ksi and 50 ft-lbs at -60 degrees f are produced using a variety of welding parameters. Low htdrogen surface characteristics mean less chance of weld metal cracking ion critical applications. Used for fabrication of high strength steel pressure vessels and high strength steel components in military vessels and vehicles
