Mineral wool blanket shall be enclosed in heavy highly polished aluminum foil, except for military ends; solid surface vapor barrier on the warm side shall form nailing flanges; back foil surface shall be perforated to allow breathing of mineral wool fibers and minimize vapor traps; heavy asphalted paper flanges shall separate front and foil panels to prevent transfer and to provide added strength to the nailing flanges
