General purpose portable voltage standing wave ratio instrument. Consists of a signal generator, power supply, dummy load and a linear amplifier with voltage standing wave ratio indicator. The standing wave ratio indicator measures the reflection coefficient by measuring attenuation through the contained r-f bridge by means of a built-in calibrator. The attenuator is calibrated by use of the dummy load
