The jbs/ris program is incorporating a 6u sized transportable transit case into the jbs-tsc-13 (v4)system to provide a more rapid deployment solution for secure or non-secure voice, secure data, and remote communications via one or two radios utilizing the hf, vhf, and uhf dama/satcom modes. This solution allows radio circuits and laptops to create a radio over internet protocol(roip) network.This change has transitioned the existing jbs-tsc-135 (v4) system up to the highest level of roip technology and allows future technology insertion efforts to be implemented via software updates
