Digital technical control (dtc) provides a deployable digital technical control capability for communication support organizations organic to amarine air ground task (magtf). Dtc facilitates the installatio, operatio, restoration and management of individual circuits and digital trunks. Provides primary interface between subscriber system/networks within a local area and long haul multi-channel transmission systems. It can add, drop, insert digital circuits into multiplexed digital groups, provide a source of stable timingto connected equipment, condition analog circuits and performs analog/digital, 2-wire/4-wire, signal conversions. The dtc contains the monitoring, testing and patching equipment required by technical controllers to monitor, troubleshoots and restores faulty circuits and trunk. The dtc will be an s280 shelterfor transport on a 5 ton truck

Properties:

The system formats, transmits, and receives all data going to and coming from the associated teams of the communication system for the system control center, telephone routing. It also maintains and updates the system database with the current state of the communication system.
