Distributes patient weight to maximize pressure management while reducing potential for shear injuries and decubitus ulcer to skin. Non-skid, low shear/low friction, non-reflective mat finish conductive surface, 2 pressure reflief vents at opposing sides. Ultrasonically welded center seams and surface materials are impermeable to fluids and vents are resistant to fluids, dust and sand. Not intended for floatation or immersion into fluids. Passes usaf high altitude chamber to 15, 000 feet above sea level and rapid deccompression to 45, 000 feet above sea level. Meets flammablility requirements established by federal aviation regulations, dimensions: 72" x 23" x 2"; weight: 10.5 lbs.Mattress pad shall not exceed 12 pounds.
