A fastening device consisting of a base plate, usually rectangular in shape, a notched bevel bolt which is integral with a thumb lever, and a strike. Attachment of the bolt and lever to the base plate is obtained by means of a pin located at the vertex of the right angle formed by bolt and lever. The bolt is designed to interlock with its notched bevel strike. Catch can be operated from one side only.
