Properties:

An elastic tube of small diameter approximately 4 feet to 10 feet (1200 millimeters to 3100 millimeters) long, with graduations. The inlet end may be funnel-shaped or designed to accommodate fittings. The outlet end may be closed (with side openings) or open to receive various perforated tips. It is used for gastric analysis, diagnosis, and treament; removal of duodenal contents; and treatment and diagnosis of obstructive lesions of the small intestine.
