The azimuth remote input output module (riom) is part of the antenna control system. After initial calibration (per terminal), during normal operation, the azimuth riom receives various input signals from external devices such as the azimuth limit switch, azimuth absolute encoder, and azimuth motor potentiometer. The azimuth riom is calibrated for a stow position of 0, a clock wise limit, and a counter clock wise limit.
