Functional Description

Consists of 3 components: 1) mounting base and outer tube, 2) float, 3 ) gage stick. It is attached to the lower surface of an aircraft wing tank. The float rides on the outside of the tube abd has magnets on its inner diameter. The gage stick contained with in the tube, has magnets on its upper end, and markings to indicate the feul quantity, it also has provisions for latching into the mounting base.
