Assembly -51a (mod) is modified from dwg by virgin polytetrafluoroethylene material for packing & o-rings; by silver-braze, union tailpieces and union nuts, iaw dwg 53711 7063850. This valve is for tank level indicator system service. Similar to 4820-01-481-4847 which has viton o-rings and socket weld tailpieces.

The flow is controlled by the action of a stem which lifts the disk perpendicularly off the center axis of its seat. The stem is at a 90 degree (1.5708 radians) angle to axis of flow. Excludes valve, stop-check; cock, shutoff, screw stem; and valve, solenoid.
