The unit accepts direction finding, built-in-test and mode command requests from the main system computer over the local area network and commands the aircraft to carry out direction finding processing. Carries out built-in-test and reports status containing flight line test set inertial navigation system data. Te unit may also obtain the current system data. Te unit may also obtain the current system time from the global positioning satellite system
