It is designed with a compensator which can be adjusted so that the measured electromotive force, corrected to a standard reference temperature, can be read directly from a scale. It can be used as a ph meter. Excludes resistor, variable, wire wound; resistor, variable, nonwire wound; meter, hydrogen ion test; and pyrometer (as modified).
