Hose not recommended for any fuel, nor cooling lines for air conditionrs and heat pumps, or for hydraulic applications with extreme pulsations; hose recommended for vacuum applications; reusable compression hose clamp fittings are clamped to each end of hose using compression side of fitting; other side of hose clamp fittings have 0.250 in. Male pipe thread which is inserted into the threaded end of quick disconnect fittings; first end fitting socket sleeve and ends are brass; socket sleeve and valve springs are stainless steel; socket valve is steel (zinc plated); socket valve washer is buna-n; length first end fitting is 2.170 in nom across flats, and sleeve is 1.190 in nom outside dia; second end fitting body is stainless steel, length is 1.630 in nom, threaded end is 0.690 in nom across flats; identication band is corrosion resistant steel, max width of 0.750 in, and is firmly attached at either end of hose
