Two 0.250 in.-20 n.C. Tapped holes 0.500 in. Deep on a 3.500 in. Bolt circle with the holes positioned opposite each other and forty five degrees from the attachment slots and also one 0.562 in.-18 n.F.Tapped hole 1.000 in. Deep located ninety degrees from the attachment slots and perpindicular to the gland face the hole center being 0.875 in. From the gland face edge the tapped hole has a 0.809 in. Min. Spotface at the top and a 0.186 in. Drilled through hole at the bottom the through hole being at a thirty degree angle to the tapped hole and leading to the body recess diameter

Properties:

An item designed to fit over a packing gland by mating with a surface of a second part which together will retain into a narrow groove or confined space the packing, preformed or o-ring, or an item designed to fit over a rod or shaft, to mate with a stuffing box to confine packing material. It may function as a static or dynamic seal retainer with the packing located on, around, or in the centerline direction of the rod or shaft axis.
