Outer shield diameter shall compress 25 percent at compression force of 1 to 4 pounds per linear inch; inner core shall be solid with a bonded butt joint; outer shield shall be overlapped 1 - 2 turns with the end of the outside helix lap-joined (soldered) as a ; the outer shield plating shall be electrodeposited bright tin plated with 90 percent tin and 10 percent lead over a copper flash; outside of the package shall contain the following statement "retain gasket in this container until ready for use"
