Filter bypass valve; cracking pressure is 0.17 mpo (25 psi) at 1.89 l/min (0.5 gpm); relief pressure is 0.23 mpo (32.9 psi) at 18.8 l/min (5 gpm); reseat pressure to be less than 10% below cracking pressure. Temperature range; non-operation is -40c (-40f); normal operation is -31c (-25f) to 93c (200f); operation is 121c (250f). Operating line pressure is 200 psi operating with 500 psi surge pressure.

Properties:

A replaceable device designed to remove solid particles from fluids ranging in density from heavy liquids to gases. The removal of particles is accomplished by porous material (metallic or non-metallic), stacked disks, wound wire, or the like, constructed so the fluid can flow through the device while the solid particles are retained. It may be designed to fit into a filter, fluid (or similar cavity), or it may have an integral outer casing and mounting facilities and be designed to connect directly to an engine, compressor, or the like.
