Unit is made of double bore quartz material with both electrodes at one end. Tube is bonded inside phenolic sleeve with special insulating resin. Lighted length of tube is 2.125 in.. Lamp is encased in tubular glass filter which absorbs visible white light while transmitting uv intensity. Total length of lamp and housing is 14.500 in.. Rated life of lamp is 5000 hrs. Operates off separate pwr supply
