Surface finish is grey (acrylic lacquer); with laser-cut and formed "ears" with screw holes along the perimeter of the shoes; the ears and their screw holes will be designed to pick-up the existing threaded screws holes in the skid tubes designed for the standard oem skid shoes; this will allow you to fully secure the surfacite skid shoes onto your skid tubes
