Bd simultest cd3/cd4 is a two-color direct immunofluorescence reagent for enumerating percentages of mature human helper/inducer t lymphocytes in erythrocyte-lysed whole blood (lwb); helper/inducer lymphocytes are a subset of t lymphocytes (cd3+) that are cd4+ helper/inducer t-lymphocyte (cd3+cd4+) percentages can be used to characterize and monitor some forms of immunodeficiency and autoimmune diseases; determining percentages of helper/inducer t lymphocytes can be useful in monitoring human immunodeficiency virus (hiv)-infected individuals; the simultest cd3/cd4 reagent, sufficient for 50 tests, is provided in 1 ml of buffered saline with gelatin and 0.1 % sodium azide
