Special Features:

Material is primarily titanium with some steel components. Item connects to pto shaft center tube on one end and is bolted to the emad (engine side) on the flange end. Assembly containsa ball and socket which requires replacing every 1, 000 flight hours. Item transmits the axial load through the shaft which occurs from the thermal cycling of the engine.

Properties:

An item in which the end of one member is partly spherical and fits into a corresponding spherical cavity in the other member, thus permitting a relative angular movement. Excludes items specifically designed for vehicular steering and torsion application.
