Properties:

A composition which may consist of finely ground silex or quartz, or finely divided wood, vegteable fiber, cellulosic derivative or resin binding material and volatile solvents. It is used to fill cracks, pores, cavities or seams in wood products prior to applying paint, varnish or the like. It may be stained to various colors. See sealer, surface.
