Properties:

An indicator which displays incremental information derived from discrete electronic signals from another item, such as a computer, on the face of a cathode ray tube, or by means of gaseous discharge type lamps which are part of a decade counting device. The displayed data may be in the form of letters, numerals, symbols, or any combination thereof. For liquid crystal displays or semiconductor type, see also display, optoelectronic.
