X 5" thick stainless steel machined out to leave a .380" plate with four (4) 1/2" wide x .065" thick, heat treated fingers that have 1" wide jaws, tapered to facilitate the restraining ring and machined it to fit under the no. 5 carbon seal, when restrained, on the end of each finger; has a restraining ring, a stainless steel weldment of a cylindrical skirt and "y" shaped support with a central boss and clearance hole for a threaded rod and handle assembly, having four equally spaced cutouts in the skirt end of the cylinder facilitating the four puller jaws, has a 2" axial slot guides an anti rotation feature (cap screw) on the jaw; used with the general purpose holding fixture
