Survival kit is packed under the raft in the rigid container & secured to the raft by a container attachment strap; survival kit contains packets offood, water cans, communication equip, medical supplies & raft repair items; the packing container equals the external dimensions of the nylon survival kit bag. The survival kit is placed inpacking container then survival equip is arranged properly into three separate layers; when bag is full, a vacuum is applied to further secure contents.After sealing the zippered opening, thesurvival kits can be removed from the packing container and loaded into the rigid container for life raft, which isthen placed against the upper fuselageof the cargo bay area in three different locations: two forward and one aft; used/w p/n 17g910021-1 & 17g910022-1
