Special Features:

This assembly -41b (mod) is modified from dwg by silver-braze union tailpieces and union nuts, o-rings of fluorocarbon, iaw mil-r-83248 type 1 cl 1, and non-metallic disk (kel-8). These valves are for ship service air, firemain and hydraulic system. Similar to 4820-01-398-5743 which has no union tailpieces.

The flow is controlled by the action of a stem which lifts the disk perpendicularly off the center axis of its seat. The stem is at a 90 degree (1.5708 radians) angle to axis of flow. Excludes valve, stop-check; cock, shutoff, screw stem; and valve, solenoid.
