Special Features:

Assembly -71a (mod) is modified from dwg by viton o-rings, iaw mil-r-83248; socket weld tailpieces; socket bore breakedge/chamfer not to exceed .010; waterway bore breakedge/chamfer not to exceed .0625. Similar to 4820-01-481-4494 which has silver-braze, union tailpieces & fluorocarbon o-rings. Similar to 4820-01-223-5126 which has braze ring socket weld connections, max temperatur of 150 degrees f, and valve stem lockshield.

The flow is controlled by the action of a stem which lifts the disk perpendicularly off the center axis of its seat. The stem is at a 90 degree (1.5708 radians) angle to axis of flow. Excludes valve, stop-check; cock, shutoff, screw stem; and valve, solenoid.
