Special Features:

This assembly -71a (mod) as modified from dwg by silver-braze union tailpieces and fluorocarbon o-rings. Similar to 4820-01-223-5126 which has brazing ring socket weld, temperature of 150 degrees f and valve stem lockshield. Also similar to 4820-01-481-4870 which has socket weld tailpieces and viton o-rings.

The flow is controlled by the action of a stem which lifts the disk perpendicularly off the center axis of its seat. The stem is at a 90 degree (1.5708 radians) angle to axis of flow. Excludes valve, stop-check; cock, shutoff, screw stem; and valve, solenoid.
